What's In It? Wednesday: Mini Pizzas


The recipe for these yummy little duds came from tasteofhome.com and are SO NEAT! My kids had such a great time making them, and (believe it or not) they are easy and delicious!

Did I mention they're easy?

Here's what to do:







Okay, so here's the real recipe:

2 tubes refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1-1/2 teaspoons dried minced onions
1 teaspoon dried oregano (I used 1/2 tsp. of ground oregano instead.)
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups (8 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese

Roll or pat biscuits into 2-1/2 in. circles. Place on greased or non-stick baking sheets.
In small bowl, combine the tomato sauce, onion, oregano, basil, and garlic powder. Spread over the biscuits. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Makes 20 mini pizzas.
