What's In It? Wednesday: Mini Pizzas

The recipe for these yummy little duds came from and are SO NEAT! My kids had such a great time making them, and (believe it or not) they are easy and delicious!

Did I mention they're easy?

Here's what to do:

Okay, so here's the real recipe:

2 tubes refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1-1/2 teaspoons dried minced onions
1 teaspoon dried oregano (I used 1/2 tsp. of ground oregano instead.)
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups (8 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese

Roll or pat biscuits into 2-1/2 in. circles. Place on greased or non-stick baking sheets.
In small bowl, combine the tomato sauce, onion, oregano, basil, and garlic powder. Spread over the biscuits. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Makes 20 mini pizzas.

Hope you enjoy this recipe! Keagan ate THREE of these (and he doesn't usually eat much)! And he said, "Mmm...that's very good, Mommy!"

So, take it from Keagan--these are yummy!

Peace of Christ to you,
